The XIG ACF team is responsible for managing client interactions across XIG’s investment businesses. These responsibilities include identifying and researching prospective investors, analyzing the role of alternative and traditional investments in a client’s portfolio, and working with clients and the investment teams to develop unique solutions. The team works closely with other areas of XIG and the broader firm, including Client Service teams, Fund Accounting/Controllers, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Compliance.

Tasks

• Responsible for business and new product development, portfolio solutions, and client service
• Serve as the primary point of contact, both internally and externally, for all matters related to XIG private equity solutions
• Communicate with prospective and existing external clients regarding private equity investment performance, portfolio exposures, concentrations, and customized portfolio developments
• Participate in the development of customized multi-manager private equity solutions, coordinating between external clients and the internal XIG Portfolio Construction team
• Manage communication and private equity platform updates with internal sales teams
• Oversee ongoing client deliverables as well as new business development activities
• Actively assist with XIG-wide initiatives and projects

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• 7+ years of experience in manager selection, portfolio construction, or risk management in private equity is preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with sophisticated investors
• Strong interest in capital markets and asset management, along with an understanding of traditional and alternative asset classes
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of work within tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; ability to adapt to internal systems
• Team player with a proactive, self-motivated mindset and a willingness to take on responsibility
• Proficiency in Japanese and English
