Join us as a Sustainability Structurer where you will support the UK Corporate Sustainability Finance product offering for both new business and existing portfolio, adopting sustainable and transition finance products by UKC client with the execution and optimisation of structured ESG portfolio transactions to meet objectives. Build long term and economic key partnerships across various sector and coverage teams aligned with the sustainable agenda. Optimising returns from client opportunities either at bespoke or at structured portfolio levels and work in collaboration with other UK Corporate origination teams and coverage.

Aufgaben

  • Development of loan structures that align with clients' needs, considering loan size, seniority, term, pricing, covenants, and repayment structures.  .
  • Collaboration with credit analysts to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and determine risk levels associated with loans and mitigate risks through appropriate loan terms and structures  .
  • Development of financial models to evaluate the impact of various loan structures on clients' financial statements, cash flows and ability to repay.  .
  • Monitoring the performance of existing loan portfolios, making recommendations for adjustments when needed.  .
  • Maintain an awareness of loan market conditions, pricing trends and competitor behaviour; use that knowledge to better position our client recommendations.  .
  • Produce high quality client-facing materials, thematic as well as transaction-specific; maintain an origination dialogue with clients outside of the regular refinancing life-cycle.

  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

  • Strong project management skills, ability to work in a small team as well as manage stakeholders from around CIB and the wider Group 
  • Commercial acumen and business development skills, with the ability to make decisions based on sound judgement and complex information 
  • Sound understanding of the corporate lending and capital market environment, including experience of corporate financing and wider market dynamics. 
  • Knowledge of macroeconomic factors affecting clients and the corporate debt market.  

Desirable skills include:

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic 
  • Creative and innovative thinking with interest in ESG related themes and topics  
  • Track record in creating meeting materials and participating in client pitches  
  • Internal and external network, including key stakeholders to the lending business 
  • Suitable professional qualifications and degree
