We’re first taking on the Indian diaspora - the largest and wealthiest immigrant population. 18 million Non-Resident Indians hold over $1.5T in wealth of which $500B is back in India. They remit $125B back every year and account for 25% of all real estate purchases in India. Yet, the banking experiences of these NRIs are archaic. We’re building a new age platform to service these NRIs with cross border money movement.

About The Role
We are excited to hiring for our first Head of Finance who will lead Aspora’s financial strategy and operations as we scale internationally. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role that reports directly to the CEO; with a fast-track path to CFO in 12–18 months.

You’ll be building the finance function from the ground up; setting up infrastructure, driving strategic finance, leading capital raising, and managing multi-country financial compliance in a regulated fintech environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead FP&A & Strategy: Drive forecasting, budgeting, business modelling, and capital allocation across all business lines
• Build Global Finance Infrastructure: Set up systems, controls, and policies across the UK, UAE, India, and beyond
• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Manage equity and debt raises, investor comms, and data room ownership
• Treasury & Capital Efficiency: Oversee real-time fund flows, FX exposure, and cross-border treasury ops
• Regulatory & Audit: Own multi-jurisdictional audits, tax compliance, financial reporting, and regulator relationships
• Team Building: Hire and lead a lean, world-class finance team with scalable processes and automation

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

• ACA / ACCA / CA / CPA qualified or qualified by experience (CFA or MBA a plus)
• 8+ years’ experience, including 3+ years in a senior finance role
• Background in fintech, payments, digital banking, or remittance
• Track record of building finance from scratch in high-growth environments
• Exceptional communicator, comfortable engaging with execs, auditors, and regulators
• Strong technical skills, including SQL
• Strategic and hands-on. You think big and execute fast
• Confident in complex, regulated environments
• Analytical and tech-savvy, with a bias for automation
• Strong ownership mindset. You love building systems that scale
• Collaborative, direct, and curious—like the rest of the Aspora team
• Experience in fintech or wallet-based businesses
• Exposure to digital banking environments
• Relationships with auditors, VCs, or regulators in fintech
