Graduate Corporate Banking Strategic Clients Germany – DAX 40 Companies (all genders) at Corporate & Institutional Banking

BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking is a bridge between large multinationals and mid-sized companies with international business activities (Corporates) and institutional investors and financial service providers (Institutionals). The division is a leading provider of sustainable financing and investment solutions.

The Strategic Clients Coverage Team supports important strategic corporates (DAX 40) of BNP Paribas in Germany in terms of all corporate and investment banking topics.

The program offers a 12-month rotational path that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our organization and valuable exposure to different areas within the bank

Key program highlights:

• Induction and trainings in Paris
• Corporate Coverage Rotation for 6 months: Gain hands-on experience by working closely with the Corporate Coverage team
• Transaction Banking Rotation for 5 months: Immerse yourself in the world of Transaction Banking in another European branch gaining valuable insights into this critical area of our business

Aufgaben

• Contributing to the development and profitability of the client relationship in connection with the Managing Directors, Directors and Vice Presidents
• Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling and capital markets analysis
• Supporting them in the preparation & follow up of the Strategic Business Review and other actions necessary to ensure a strong commercial dialogue between the Client and the Bank
• Manage client relationships on a global level by coordinating the subsidiaries of the Multinational Corporations
• Being active in the analysis and selection of the bank’s risk exposure, thereby contributing to the sustainability of the business model
• Being responsible for monitoring the overall risks and credit process of a portfolio of German DAX 40 clients
• Providing a deep dive analysis of the Compliance-Know Your Customer check and Environmental & Social Governance (ESG) of your clients
• Identifying potential risk (amongst which image and reputation for BNPP) when entering into relation respective when providing financing to a client

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

• A bachelor or master degree in finance, economics or accounting
• Good knowledge of the corporate banking environment via a previous internship or work experience related to corporate banking or corporate finance
• Attention to details with a solid knowledge of business model & financial analysis
• Business appetite with an acute sense of risk and energy
• Perspective and sense of priority and strategy, matching the clients’ and the bank interests
• Flexibility and eagerness to improve your own performance
• Being Fluent in German and English
