As a Credit Risk Manager within Global Credit Financing Solutions (Structured Credit), you’ll sit at the heart of structured finance and underwriting activity-working directly with the business, influencing transactions, and helping steer the strategic direction of the team. Structured Credit specialises in providing bespoke financing solutions to clients secured by traded and non-traded credit assets. Underlying risk exposures include Broadly Syndicated Loans, Middle Market Loans, Private Credits, Distressed debt, Emerging Market debt, Bonds, Pref Equity, Project Finance other forms of bespoke assets and associated financing structures.
Aufgaben
- Analysis of complex financial information and business models of LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Fund clients to assess their creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and potential risks.
- Monitoring of the performance of the LevFin, SLF, and Hedge Fund portfolio, identifying and reporting early warning signs of potential credit deterioration.
- Evaluation of the risk profile of each application considering factors like industry trends, borrower financials, collateral, and market conditions.
- Documentation credit decisions and rationale in a clear and concise manner, adhering to internal audit and regulatory reporting standards.
- Development and implementation of strategies to mitigate identified credit risks and optimise portfolio performance.

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:
- Leading or taking ownership of transactions, steering transaction structuring, preparing credit reviews and presenting recommendations to a senior audience.
- Fundamental credit analysis in a leveraged finance or structured credit underwriting context, ideally within a bank environment.
- Collaborating across functions within Risk (e.g. Counterparty Credit Risk, Market Risk) and other control functions (e.g. Finance, Legal and Regulatory Policy)
- Establishing Risk Assessment frameworks, methodologies and procedures in line with regulatory / internal policies and standards.
- Working closely with front‑office teams to enhance controls / create efficiencies.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience with securitisation, repo, TRS or other structured financing products
- Ability to identify emerging macroeconomic risks and translate them into portfolio‑level insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Team player with ability to develop, collaborate and implement new Risk frameworks.
- Solid credit analysis capabilities supported by a relevant academic background
